Our story

NameGenerators.in was founded in 2019 by a small team of brand strategists and linguists who kept seeing the same problem: brilliant businesses launching with forgettable, unavailable or accidentally problematic names. The name is the most visible, most repeated and most permanent asset a brand has — yet it was too often left to a rushed afternoon of brainstorming.

We set out to change that in two ways. First, by building free, genuinely useful name generator tools that anyone could use to escape the blank page. Second, by offering professional naming services for teams who need strategy, linguistic vetting and legal clearance handled by specialists. Today, both sides of the business serve hundreds of thousands of people across 190+ countries.
